Wednesday Aug 15, 2018
In this episode of Seizing Sobriety, I spoke with John Collopy, owner of Remax Results, the largest Remax real estate franchise in the world. John shared his story of growing up in an abusive and alcoholic family, and the path that put him on until hitting rock bottom in 1975.
Now, after 43 years of sobriety, he's written an amazing book, titled "The Reward of Knowing," in which he details both his personal struggles, as well as the steps he's taken to not just achieving sobriety, but truly living a big life of peace, serenity and contribution.
John's book can be found on Amazon here.
I hope you enjoy, and as usual, please share, subscribe, and rate us on iTunes! And if you know anyone thriving in sobriety that I should talk to, message me at SeizingSobriety@gmail.com

Monday Aug 06, 2018
Monday Aug 06, 2018
In this episode of Seizing Sobriety, I speak with Scotty Schultz, an old friend and tremendously successful and thoughtful guy. Scotty is a professional drummer living and working in Nashville. As you might imagine, that is a lifestyle in which drug and alcohol use can become pretty typical, and it was for Scotty for a long time. But, he’s been sober for over six years now, and he’s going to share with us about what his life was like before he made the decision to get sober and healthy, as well as the steps and practices he takes today to maintain that sobriety. He’s an incredibly inspiring and humble guy, and it was a pleasure and a privilege to get to learn from him.
I hope you enjoy the conversation.

Podcast 6-Jacob's journey to sobriety
Tuesday Nov 28, 2017
Tuesday Nov 28, 2017
Jacob has an incredible story. As a very young man, he was unable to love and value himself. He used drugs and alcohol to get right with the world. To medicate. To fit in. To find some semblance of emotional peace. But like any addict, he was unable to manage it all. In this podcast, he shares his unique and valuable insights on why he did it, how he decided to get sober, and what he focuses on now to stay healthy.
I hope you enjoy, and please share with anyone you know that could benefit.
Best,
Dan
